Late-night snackers, rejoice! If you’re on the hunt for a treat that satisfies your sweet tooth without a side of guilt, these candied grapes are here to save the day (or night). Not only are they ridiculously easy to make, but they also taste amazing and can hang out in your freezer for months—though we doubt they’ll last that long! The best part? The flavor possibilities are endless. From classic Jello to Starburst, Skittles (yes, you can literally taste the rainbow), and even Sonic-inspired gelatin mixes, there’s something for everyone. Feeling tropical? Try lime, pineapple, orange, and mango. Want a guilt-free twist? Go for sugar-free flavors! However you mix it up, these frosty little gems are bound to become your freezer’s newest superstar snack.

How to Make These Frozen Grapes of Goodness:

Start by giving those juicy grapes a good rinse—nobody likes gritty grapes! Once they’re all fresh and clean, divide them into freezer-safe plastic bags. Here’s where the magic happens: sprinkle a package of your favorite flavored gelatin into each bag. Channel your inner mixologist and shake, shake, shake until every grape is coated in sweet, sugary goodness. Pop those bags into the freezer and let them chill out for 8 to 10 hours (overnight works perfectly). When you’re ready to snack, grab the frosty grapes, pour them into a bowl, and enjoy. Warning: these are so delicious, you might forget about the brain freeze!

Notes

  • We once tried the toothpick method to roll each grape in gelatin for that “perfect” coating. Spoiler alert—it wasn’t worth the effort! The end result looked almost the same, and let’s be real, who has time for that?
  • Oh, and about those gelatin boxes you see in the video—yep, I accidentally ordered the Family Size. Unless you’re sticking to just one or two flavors, the small boxes will do the trick just fine. Lesson learned: less is more when it comes to gelatin and grape magic!
